May the Canon Be With You: Get Ready for More of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Story

Want to know more about Lor San Tekka and how he got part of the map to Luke? How about Poe Dameron? I know you want more Poe. There are a few Force Awakens secrets to be found in Alan Dean Foster’s The Force Awakens Book and in about a month, a new Lego game will uncover more untold stories. “Lego Star Wars:  The Force Awakens” will detail scenes not in the movie, including more on how C3PO got that red arm, and

the tale of Poe rescuing Admiral Ackbar from the First Order.
The game highlights characters we know little about — like Sidon Ithano aka the Crimson Corsair (seen in Maz’s cantina) —

and we’ll find out how Han and Chewie got those nasty Rathtar aboard Han’s ship; cast members (including Harrison Ford) recorded new dialogue for the game.

Lead game developer Graham Goring describes the Rathtar story as very different from TFA, with a bit of an Alien vibe. You know what that means, folks? That means I’m (not a gamer) going to have to watch my kids playing this little adventure out. In all, six tricky — “slightly hidden” — missions can be found and their stories available once the ten core missions are completed.  Check out the game teaser:

“Lego Star Wars:  The Force Awakens” is in stores June 28th. There will be SPOILERS.
