Years ago, I saw (at least a shadow of) Daniel Radcliffe’s wang on Broadway. Being the professional I am, I can neither confirm nor deny whether it is in fact magic, as Paul Dano’s Hank claims, but I’ll say this much: I was impressed. Who knows…perhaps a little (whoops?) part of Potter found its way into Radcliffe’s privates. For now, I guess we’ll just have to take Dano’s word.
If you can’t yet tell, this Swiss Army Man red band trailer might not be safe for work/kids…depending upon your work/kids. First time directors The Daniels (Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert) collaborated on the wacky buddy comedy that mashes-up Cast Away and Weekend at Bernie’s, with Radcliffe as a corpse/”multi-purpose tool”. This is so not up my alley, but the Dano-Radcliffe teaming might be good enough to get me past my instincts. Plus, uh…magic wangs!
Swiss Army Man also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Richard Gross; it floats ashore this July.
