Sir Patrick Stewart Likes to Watch, and This May Be the Best Thing to Come Out of X-Men: Apocalypse

The reviews for X-Men:  Apocalypse are rolling in from across the pond, and so far they’re a resounding “meh”. Admittedly, this particular franchise isn’t my thing, despite starring several favorites — Fassbender, Hoult, Turner, Isaac, Byrne, and at the top of the list:  Sir Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy. That said, I’ll watch the publicity rounds and in particular, this video, all day long. McAvoy heads to his trailer to prep for playing a more Stewart-like Xavier, Sir Patrick pops in to watch the big moment, and cheer James on.

McAvoy:  “I’m finally understanding what it’s like to be you.”

Stewart:  “The difference is that I looked like that when I was 19.”

Me:  “Who’s looking at your head?”
