Draco Malfoy Tom Felton Joins The Flash

The CW Network’s The Flash continues to raid the vaults of your favorite movies and TV shows to fill out its cast.

Star Grant Gustin came from Glee.  Danielle Panabaker is a Sky High veteran. Tom Cavanaugh was on the beloved Ed. Jesse L. Martin did a stretch on Law & Order.

For its latest cast addition, The Flash is reaching into the halls of House Slytherin from Harry Potter and casting Draco Malfoy himself, Tom Felton, for a regular role in the show’s upcoming third season.

Felton will play Julian Dorn, who will be a rival of sorts for Barry, working as a CSI in the Central City. Most likely the tension will arise because Dorn will be stuck doing all the work because Barry is always hanging out in the abandoned science building; how long before Dorn figures out there’s more to Barry than a nice guy?

It feels right for The Flash to add a new regular character to spice things up and Felton has a big enough following to bring some new eyes to the series.

The CW shows have been expanding their rosters during the hiatus with Arrow being the biggest mover with around a half-dozen new roles cast. Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow are also going to have some fresh faces as well.

More announcements are sure to be on the way with CW planning on having a big presence at San Diego Comic Con later in the month. The new season starts in October.

Felton’s Dorn can’t be all bad though, right? Puppy!
