Two Kids Playing the Star Wars Theme for John Williams Will Make Your Day

Since I spent yesterday at a funeral, today’s Oohlo theme is lightness and finding spots of joy wherever we can. Take a couple of minutes away from the dark world and watch this wonderful video of 13-year-old trumpeter Bryce Hayashi and flugelhorn player Michael Miller (aka Mickle) as they set up outside award-winning composer John Williams’ home and play an epic version of the Star Wars theme.

I can’t decide which is cooler: that the 84-year-old composer popped out for a wave and a handshake, or that he totally blew the kids’ minds. Either way, I love the whole thing.
