Well, that’s another bummer for Tom Hiddleston.
As of this morning, reports are rampant about Sony Pictures Entertainment (which owns Colombia Pictures) offering Daniel Craig a kazillionty — read: $150 MILLION — dollars to do two (yes, that’s 2) more Bond films: 25 and 26, which would be shot back to back.
According to inside sources, Craig has played “a genius hand:”
Everyone knows how much executives adore him, and the idea of losing him at such a crucial time in the franchise isn’t an option as far as all the studio honchos are concerned.Daniel’s the key for a seamless, safe transition as far as Sony and Bond bosses are concerned, and they’re prepared to pay a king’s ransom to make it happen.
Oohlo Labs™ sent out their Internet Specialist to find completely made up to get reactions from the other rumored Bond contenders:
Idris knows everyone loves him.
If Craig agrees to the two-picture deal (and he’d probably be crazy to turn it down), the final entry in this triad — Bond 27 — would then introduce “a younger long-term successor.”
And that’s it for your post-Labor Day Bond news; we’ll keep you …
