Need a Spot of Sweetness to Cut Through the Dark? Cuddle up with My Life as a Zucchini

I don’t know about you, but there’s only so much distressing news I can take. Facebook, Twitter …doesn’t matter whether you want to read political news; it’s absolutely everywhere. Catch a break — even if only for a few minutes — with this sweet, soul-filling teaser for My Life as a Zucchini (aka My Life as a Courgette). You wouldn’t think being orphaned could be a good thing, but when a group of parentless kids get together, it’s not always Lord of the Flies.

GKIDS Films’ Claude Barras directed stop-motion adventure is Switzerland’s Oscar contender this year for Best Foreign Language Film, and when it it comes our way (English dubbed), Nick Offerman, Amy Sedaris, Ellen Page and Will Forte will provide their voices. Honestly though, I’ll watch it as is, because how lovely is this?

My Life as a Zucchini hits US theaters February 24th.
