Better Never Means Better for Everyone: Hulu Serves Up a Horrifying New Trailer for The Handmaid’s Tale

With every passing day the current administration remains in office — our feeds full of “Breaking News” —

it feels like we’re inching ever closer to some of Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale realities. Think I’m being hyperbolic? Just take a look at this purported draft of Trump’s “Religious Freedom” Executive Order, and this video of him saying abortion should be banned, and “There has to be some form of punishment [for the woman]“.

Punishment? Like this?

I don’t know about you, but I feel like nothing is beyond this administration. Between the outright lies and the way our rights are being threatened, there is no more timely series headed our way.

The Handmaid’s Tale stars Elisabeth Moss, Joseph Fiennes, Max Minghella, Alexis Bledel, Ann Dowd, O.T. Fagbenle, Samira Wiley, Ever Carradine and Yvonne Strahovski. It airs on Hulu beginning April 26th.
