We should be so lucky.
Visiting The View yesterday to promote Logan, 76 year old Sir Patrick Stewart assured Joy Behar he’s in on the fight against fear and hate.
Lamenting the state of things in our fair country, the former Starfleet commander asserted,
I’m not a citizen. However, there is, maybe it’s the only good thing, as the result of this election: I am now applying for citizenship. Because I want to be an American too.”
All of my friends in Washington said, ‘There is one thing you can do. Fight, fight, oppose, oppose,’”
Behar also brought up a recent tweet Stewart had made:
Had the worst sleep of my life last night. But I was sleeping less than 300 yds from where Donald Trump sleeps. Could there be a connection?

The actor said he and his wife were wondering what they could do to oppose the current administration’s tactics, and he’d spoken to area insiders about the immigration turmoil; apparently his worry kept Stewart awake. Perhaps he needs an extra dose of his prescribed arthritis remedy to relax a bit?

Now, if we can just get Stewart’s pal, Sir Ian McKellen to join him …
