Heineken Gets It Right with Worlds Apart: An Experiment Ad

I’m not going to talk about that other ad that got it so wrong *coughPepsicough*; I’m only going to focus on this one that gets it right. Heineken made a smart commercial here, one that focuses on the reality of life — we’re all different and yet, we’re all the same — human beings. It doesn’t claim to bring peace to the world, only to take a step in the right direction; toward understanding. Have a look:

It’s a simple message:  sit down in a room with someone and get to know that person. Talk with them, not at them. Don’t judge by appearance, in fact, maybe don’t judge at all. Just be a human being and try to understand your fellow human beings.

“Open your mind. Open your world.”
