What’s Going With Shirtless Kevin Bacon and This Little Lamb? … I Love Dick

So, er … I was just wondering, can shaving a lamb be sensual?

Yeah, I have no idea either. But, shirtless Kevin Bacon walking slow-mo down the street damned sure can.

If you’re wondering what’s going on here, you’re not alone.

If you don’t much care what’s going on (as long as little lambie is okay), other than shirtless Kevin Bacon walking down a street …

Wait, is the lamb going to be okay?

Oh, of course he is; I mean, Kevin Bacon literally wouldn’t hurt a lamb.

But he would …

… shave a lamb,

and somehow that does, according to certain people’s reactions,

seem to be a thing that turns certain people on? Fork if I know.

What I do understand is that this scene played out on Jill Soloway’s (Transparent) latest Amazon series (based on Chris Kraus’ novel), which just so happens to star Kevin Bacon as Dick, the object of filmmaker, Chris’ (Katheryn Hahn) obsession. Unfortunately for both of them, Chris is married to Sylvere (Griffin Dunne), whose research fellowship just so happens to be sponsored by a certain … Dick. Oh, and yes, in case you are wondering, Dick is a dick, and both in and out of Chris’ fantasies — which she openly shares with her husband, fueling their sex life — but that only makes Chris (and sometimes, Sylvere) all the more obsessed with Dick. Dick, Dick, dick. Yes, this series is NSFW/K, and yes, it’s as per Soloway’s usual, wacky and funny and confusing. Depending on your love of soft-porn, bizarre, nonsensical, laugh-out-loud series, you may also love I Love Dick.

If nothing else, I think we can all appreciate shirtless Kevin Bacon with a sweet little lamb.

I Love Dick is co-created by Sarah Gubbins, and also stars Roberta Colindrez, India Menuez, Lily Mojekwu, Phoebe Robinson, Sherry Cola and Adhir Kalyan. All eight episodes are available on Amazon now.
