When the Snows Fall and the White Winds Blow: Does Dany Lose a Dragon in Game of Thrones‘ Second Season 7 Trailer?

Holy … no sooner did those threatening words about Euron Greyjoy escape Pilou Asbæk’s lips, when HBO released the second Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer, full of gorgeous shots (look at that header of Sophie Turner as Sansa!), insanely giffable moments, and what might be a big loss for Daenerys Targaryen.

First, check out the incredible preview, and then we’ll discuss what might be happening to one of the dragons. Euron is surely hella pissed that Yara and Theon made off with his ships, and with Dany; he’ll surely follow the group, but what will he do when he finds them?

Firstly, with that voiceover, is Sansa warning that Jon is going to die again? I’ve always expected him to, and my gut tells me that line “A lone wolf dies, but the pack survives” has something to do with Snow. (Purely subjective, and could mean many people, of course.)

There’s a fantastic shot of Beric Dondarrion (Richard Dormer) with a fiery sword,

but of all the fiery scenes …

this one grabbed my attention, because it looks like a dragon is possibly on fire and falls from the sky.

IF that did happen, it could be any number of people/armies who might have set Dany’s (technically Euron’s) ships

ablaze …

… I’m just saying I wouldn’t be surprised if Euron had something to do with it.

That would, of course, be foolish on his part. A mother

her babies.

Here are a few more incredible shots:
