Check Out This Wicked Cool Fan-Made Star Wars: The Last Jedi Trailer

I’m in love with these old school trailer recreations — see the 8/16 bit here — popping up on the interwebs. Today’s The Last Jedi entry was painstakingly created by Wahyu Ichwandardi using a program called Dazzle Draw, on a 1984 Apple IIc. The process, which you can watch below, involved a Koala Pad and traced drawings of trailer shots on individual plastic sheets, 288 image files saved on 48 floppy disks (using emulator software) and transferred to a MacBook Pro for post-processing.

The finished product is gorgeous, as exciting as the original.

I can’t wait to see the next adaptation. Star Wars:  The Last Jedi hits theaters December 15th.
