All in All You’re Just Another Death by the Wall: HBO Says in Season 8, the Game of Thrones Cast Falls One by One

In a quick attempt to divert attention from her poorly chosen rape comment “Best of HBO” panel at the INTV Conference in Israel, the cable outlet’s programming president, Casey Bloys and senior vice president of drama (no kidding!), Francesca Orsi joined drama chief, David Levine for a few comments about the upcoming eighth and final Game of Thrones season. Orsi spoke about the “dream opportunity” of sitting at the last six table readings with cast members who, it sounds like did not know their characters’ fates ahead of time.

It was a really powerful moment in our lives and our careers. None of the cast had received the scripts prior, and one by one they started falling down to their deaths.

It was amazing. By the very end, everyone looked down and looked up and tears were in their eyes.”

Personally, I’ve been thinking about how GRRM loves to kill off his characters and realized I really wouldn’t be surprised, nor would I consider it a poor ending if the whole lot of those left gets wiped out. Well, all except for …

… and probably,

oh and …

… not him!

Well, shit! We’re in a whole lot of trouble, aren’t we?
