Look, I’m not saying Naomie Harris will cut a bitch Bond, but uh …
… maybe some things shouldn’t be left to chance? Like, say — for instance — purely hypothetically, you have a phenomenal, sought-after, Oscar-nominated actress who’s played a key role in the last two films of a particularly huge franchise, one would think the people making the next film in that particularly huge franchise have already ensured her availability. Wouldn’t one?
So, I’ve a little question for Bond 25, Oscar-winning director, Danny Boyle: Please tell me Mr. Boyle, how is it that Naomie Harris — you DID see Moonlight, did you not? — is telling Graham Norton that she, an actress who actually starred in and won Best Breakthrough Performance for your own movie (28 Days Later) is still waiting for a call?
I know nothing. I don’t know if I am in it, but I do know they start shooting at the end of the year. I have cleared my diary in anticipation but I don’t know.”
I know you might be a little distracted by that towel action, but let’s keep to the subject at hand, Miss Moneypenny —> Bond.
It’s not every day that actors have this kind of chemistry … and trust. Come on, Mr. Boyle; this moment demands a personal call, and Ms. Harris should not be left waiting a moment longer.
Bond 25 is expected to be Daniel Craig’s last 007 outing, and is scheduled for a November 8, 2019 release.
