Are you dancing, because I’m dancing and somewhere, I know Ewan McGregor is dancing (despite his pesky Fargo fate).
Though it’s not yet known at which point in Kenobi’s story the film will take place, WE know it would be nothing short of banana-ass crazy if they didn’t have Ewan McGregor star,
so here’s a message from us, every Ewan fan, and probably McGregor himself: WE NEED MORE EWBIE-WAN KENOBI.
As for the details, there aren’t many. Oscar-winning director, Stephen Daldry (The Crown, The Hours, The Reader, Billy Elliot) is in talks to run the show; there’s no script yet, and nobody really knows what the hell is going on.
Still, WE DANCE.
We dance.
Shall we keep on dancing?
DANCE!!!!!

Indeed, Ewan McGregor is surely kicking up his heels — as are we — at the latest news that instead of a film, Disney is planning a limited (up to six episodes) series around Star Wars‘ favorite characters, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Star Wars News Net claims the series is a “top priority” for Disney’s streaming service (unfortunately, also responsible for the demise of Netflix’s multiple Marvel series [RIP The Punisher]). That’s all the information available at the moment, but it’s enough for every Obi-Wan/Ewan McGregor fan to start celebrating. We’ll update whenever further details are released.
